Collaboration supports renewable energy innovation with Vanderbilt engineering researchers.
FRANKLIN, Tennessee. (January 16, 2025) – Enexor BioEnergy today announced it has joined the Industry Affiliates Program at the Vanderbilt Institute of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (VINSE). The program brings together academic researchers and technology companies to advance innovation in nanoscale science, materials, and engineering.
Through this affiliation, Enexor will collaborate with Vanderbilt faculty, students, and research labs to advance joint technical development in renewable energy and carbon conversion. The partnership will support Enexor’s efforts to accelerate the research, testing, and deployment of its modular, on-site waste-to-energy systems.
“Our mission has always been to energize waste in a way that delivers scalable, sustainable impact,” said Lee Jestings, Founder and CEO of Enexor. “This collaboration with VINSE creates exciting opportunities to work with world-class researchers and drive innovation in renewable energy and decarbonization technologies.”
Enexor’s patented Bio‑CHP™ systems convert organic and plastic waste into 24/7 renewable electricity and thermal energy. By partnering with VINSE, Enexor gains access to Vanderbilt’s technical resources and a collaborative ecosystem that will help enhance system performance, accelerate field validation, and support long-term commercialization goals.
The affiliation underscores Enexor’s continued investment in technical excellence and research-driven innovation as it scales its climate solutions globally.
