MANUFACTURING MANAGER

Mid - Senior Level(s)

Position Overview

Enexor is seeking an extremely talented manufacturing professional to establish and launch manufacturing operations in a dynamic and rapid paced environment. Successful candidates will have experience in planning and implementing lean manufacturing processes, supply chain management, budgeting, capital planning, and labor planning in the durable goods space. This person should have a B.S. or M.S. in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related discipline. Project management and six-sigma credentials are helpful, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, processes and procedures that aid the business in launching to market and sustaining the business through growth to achieve scale.

  • Conduct capital, labor, budget, and supply chain planning and forecasting to ensure that manufacturing activities are aligned with strategic business objectives and timelines.

  • Integrate with product development to ensure manufacturability in design intent, mitigate risks, and identify opportunities for business development activities.

  • Optimize costs by implementing make, buy, or automate decisions in line with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques and the Industrial Revolution 4.0 principles.

  • Develop key quality metrics to ensure the highest degree of quality assurance and quality control during manufacturing processes and vendor selection.

  • Develop and take ownership of manufacturing policies, standard operating procedures, guidelines and safety requirements.

  • Lead and develop teams to ensure all team members are experts at their craft and the best stewards of our culture.

This position is based in Franklin, TN. Relocation assistance will not be provided.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • B.S. in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or related field.

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing leadership experience.

  • Candidates must be authorized to lawfully work in the United States.

Preferred Skills and Experience 

  • Proven track record of excellence backed by strong references.

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills (ability to engage senior managers and C-Suite executives).

  • Deep understanding of Lean manufacturing techniques and processes.

  • Small team leadership experience.

  • Product development experience transitioning product from design and prototype to production.

  • Literacy in MS Office Suite (intermediate to advanced Excel ability), computer aided drafting, and modeling software.

  • Six sigma or PMP credentials a plus, but not required.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER(S)

Entry - Senior Level(s)

Position Overview

Do you love to work on new mechanical inventions? Are you a topnotch mechanical engineer that wants to be part of something very unique? Do you have an inventor's mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit? Are you interested in being part of a start-up company? Then we are looking for you!

 

This is a hands-on multidisciplinary position that requires skill in virtually all mechanical engineering core competencies. Examples include machine design, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and manufacturing technology. You will work in a small, project team environment to develop a new clean energy system. You will also be involved with the fabricating, assembly, and testing of prototypes that you helped design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and 3-D modeling of system components.

  • Generating 2-D engineering drawings and overseeing the fabrication of system components.

  • Design and setup of experimental systems.

  • Engineering analysis.

  • Interfacing with vendors and clients.

  • Travel Required: 5%

This position in based in Franklin, TN. Relocation assistance will not be provided. 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • ​B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, required.​

  • Candidates must be authorized to lawfully work in the United States.

Preferred Skills and Experience 

  • Strong design and analytical skills.


  • Relentless desire to be innovative.

  • Experience with 3D CAD (Inventor preferred), FEA, and CFD are desirable.

  • Self-directed and able to lead machine-design endeavors from concept to completion.


  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods and processes.

BUILDING AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Position Overview

Do you love to work on new inventions? Are you a topnotch engineer that wants to be part of something very unique? Do you have an inventor's mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit? Are you interested in being part of a start-up company? Then we are looking for you!

 

This is a hands-on position that requires skill in electrical, controls, and building automation systems integration. You will work in a small, project team environment to develop a new clean energy system. You will also be involved with the fabricating, assembly, and testing of prototypes that you helped design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integration of products with customer Building Automation Systems (BMS)

  • Design and setup of experimental electrical and control systems.

  • Engineering analysis.

  • Interfacing with vendors and clients.

  • Travel Required: 15%

This position in based in Franklin, TN. Relocation assistance will not be provided. 

Education

  • ​B.S. in Engineering, required.​  

  • Candidates must be authorized to lawfully work in the United States. 

Preferred Skills and Experience 

  • Strong design and analytical skills.

  • Experience designing, programming and troubleshooting complex control systems.

  • Self-directed and able to lead design endeavors from concept to completion.


  • Experience with BACnet, OPC, and Modbus
