MANAGER, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT 

Position Overview

Enexor is seeking a highly talented product development professional to lead one of our products to market and realize its full potential.  The ideal candidate will have robust technical, business and leadership experience.  This person will be passionate about attention to detail, innovating, leading, placing people over process, and challenging the status quo.  This individual must be self-motivated and excited by the prospect of working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment while possessing the drive to deliver results on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, implement and own a product development process that enhances and supports a nimble environment.

  • Translate vision and strategy into explicit plans and actions.

  • Drive all aspects of new product development pipeline management

  • Ensure product development proceeds according to cost and schedule targets, to include managing development milestones, monitoring key performance indicators and leading improvement initiatives. 

  • Identify and utilize individual strengths within the team’s make-up to compliment frequent group collaboration, while always exploring new methods to increase the output, impact and efficiency of the team. 

  • Ensure design activities align with company business needs and are executed with strong engineering rigor through solid design and root cause analysis work. 

  • Foster a cohesive environment of innovation and collaboration to support a culture that embodies both positivity and the pursuit of remarkable outcomes.

  • Understand and convert customer needs and requirements in product specifications.

  • Coordinate with internal function groups to ensure design integrity, manufacturability and reliability.

  • Develop a product roadmap to guide execution that incorporates priorities and balances trade-offs

  • Manage vendor relationships to safeguard cost and quality.

This position in based in Franklin, TN. Relocation assistance will not be provided. 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, preferred, but 4-year degree in a business or engineering-related field, required.​ 

  • At least 7-years of experience in durable goods or industrial machining product development, preferred. 

  • Candidates must be authorized to lawfully work in the United States without employee sponsorship.

Preferred Skills and Experience 

  • This position benefits from a broad range of experience in mechanical and electrical systems, including but not limited to:

    • piping and valve systems

    • pneumatics

    • heating and cooling systems

    • pressure vessels

    • sensing and control instrumentation

    • high temperature materials

    • combustion systems

    • filtration systems and methods

    • sound abatement techniques

    • assembly, fabrication and manufacturing methods

    • thermal management

    • CFD/FEA simulation and analysis

    • PLCs and controls automation

    • battery systems

  • Proven track record of excellence, backed by strong references.

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills with experience in engaging senior management and C-suite executives.

  • MBA or PMP preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to effectively move between wide-ranging creative, possibilities assessments and focused technical, financial and operational discussions. 

  • Proven leader with self-confidence, and a solid track record of accomplishments in challenging environments.

  • Literacy in MS Office Suite, computer aided drafting, and modeling software.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER(S)

Entry - Senior Level(s)

Position Overview

Do you love to work on new mechanical inventions? Are you a topnotch mechanical engineer that wants to be part of something very unique? Do you have an inventor's mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit? Are you interested in being part of a start-up company? Then we are looking for you!

 

This is a hands-on multidisciplinary position that requires skill in virtually all mechanical engineering core competencies. Examples include machine design, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and manufacturing technology. You will work in a small, project team environment to develop a new clean energy system. You will also be involved with the fabricating, assembly, and testing of prototypes that you helped design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and 3-D modeling of system components.

  • Generating 2-D engineering drawings and overseeing the fabrication of system components.

  • Design and setup of experimental systems.

  • Engineering analysis.

  • Interfacing with vendors and clients.

  • Travel Required: 5%

This position in based in Franklin, TN. Relocation assistance will not be provided. 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

BUILDING AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Position Overview

This is a hands-on position that requires skill in electrical, controls, and building automation systems integration. You will work in a small, project team environment to develop a new clean energy system. You will also be involved with the fabricating, assembly, and testing of prototypes that you helped design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integration of products with customer Building Automation Systems (BMS)

  • Design and setup of experimental electrical and control systems.

  • Engineering analysis.

  • Interfacing with vendors and clients.

  • Travel Required: 15%

This position in based in Franklin, TN. Relocation assistance will not be provided. 

Education

  • ​B.S. in Engineering, required.​  

  • Candidates must be authorized to lawfully work in the United States. 

Preferred Skills and Experience 

  • 5-years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry preferred. 

  • Strong design and analytical skills.

  • Experience designing, programming and troubleshooting complex control systems.

  • Self-directed and able to lead design endeavors from concept to completion.


  • Experience with BACnet, OPC, and Modbus
